“Weighted” is a series of images created for Maggie’s 2022 illustration thesis. The goal of these illustrations were to reflect the experience of being stuck in unhealthy diet and body dysmorphic behaviours. When creating these works Maggie was extrapolating inspiration from her own personal experiences growing up (and currently living) as a plus size individual in our modern diet centered world.
